What size is a ModoPad desk mat?
36 by 18 inches - 914 by 457 millimetres. One size, chosen because it is the size that actually fits a desk setup rather than the size that is cheapest to ship.

Will it fit my desk?
If your desk is 47 inches (120 cm) wide or more, it fits with room either side. On a 40 inch desk it fits edge to edge. Below that, measure first.
How to measure
- Depth - front edge of the desk to the base of your monitor stand. You want at least 18 inches (457 mm).
- Width - the space you actually have, not the full desk. Allow for anything permanently parked at either end.
- Take off an inch or two so the mat is not wedged against anything.
Is 36 x 18 inches big enough for gaming?
Yes. It holds a full-size keyboard and the entire sweep of a low-DPI mouse on one surface. That is the point of the size - at 400 DPI a wide swipe crosses most of the mat, and a smaller pad runs out under your hand mid-movement.
Is it too big for an office desk?
On most desks, no. It covers the working area and leaves the outer thirds free. If your desk is under 40 inches wide it will run corner to corner, which some people want and some do not.
How thick is it?
Thin enough to sit flat under a keyboard without raising the front edge, and soft enough that the base absorbs keyboard noise rather than amplifying it.
